Love Poem: The Trampoline

The Trampoline

Am going to live my life again
And go places with my new found friend
I am going to live my life again and
get a taste of paradise on earth
And crawl on my belly out of the dirt
I had a strange dream of how I was
practicing on the trampoline
I keep bouncing higher and higher
With my body in shape
And my figure all over the place
I felt relax and fine and held close to the divine
I completed all the stages in perfect timing
And had some prestigious landing,
I couldn’t believe that I was doing
such thing, anchoring in mid- air
and touching my toes with grandeur
Gravity kept me in line and the miracle was divine
I got lost in a space unknown and met with the invisible
sitting on the throne and for a split second, I saw the light
before me and the darkness faded behind me,
I open my eyes to see if I was still alive
And I heard the boisterous crowd
screaming and shouting with cheers,
I was still standing in position
with the miracle holding in my hand,
And I was still here,
the screams and shouts got louder
And I finally crossed over neatly
and the speed at which I moved
clock the time that no one could improve
My body was accurate and neat
and the music made my movement complete
I can see the distance that I walk
I measure the circle and the square
And reach for the star floating in the air
The oval was complete and
the gold was dangling underneath my feet
and the three dimensional shape that
my body make cause the entire stadium to shake
I find found an electrifying form
that no one could imitate and
the trampoline improve my shape and
gave me a brand new form to compete
while glory awaits me on the other side and
nothing could stop me.
