The Truth of Love
Love is not something that we can understand with our mind alone. It is not something that we can see with our eyes only, or sense with our emotions only. Love is something much deeper, much more all-encompassing. Love cannot be truly or fully described with words, nor fully portrayed with images or notes played by an orchestra. Love must be experienced fully with all senses alert & enraptured in its grasp. Love is not something that can be imitated, falsely mimicked or falsely witnessed. Love is something that once felt can never be unfelt. It is something that once given can never be truly taken away. Love is stronger & more powerful than any other force or emotion known to mankind. Love can bring such jubilation, yet tear us bit from bit in utter gut wrenching despair & anguish. Love is pure, raw & untainted in its true form and is the most beautiful thing we can share with another human being. It is the ultimate purpose for our lives here on this earth, to understand and become better at honest love and to give it freely and fully. To share love without concern for our own selfishness and to allow others to know that we love them is what we must do. God has called us to love one another, even if it means that our hearts must be broken in the end. Love is the only thing that makes this life worthwhile. It is the ultimate goal and the ultimate reward!
