The Umbrella
we stood in the rain under an umbrella
with your arms wrapped around me tightly
and you were whispering in my ear of your love
and the street was empty except for us it seemed
but we could see people in cafes chatting
but we did not want to go there
and it was bliss to be with you in the rain
I can still hear your beating heart on my own
and this is a memory of us I will keep always
and forever ...
