The Universe Takes Time
The Universe Takes Time
When the clock struck midnight’s winter solitude she dangled from the
pendulum changed vibration and her tune ticking toking to the token of time
No longer in chaos Yin joined lover’s flute and took what she gave in openings
Solstice’s moon and sun embraced mountains and valleys when Yang grafted
cosmos from disarray and they harvested from mating souls entwining piecing
together what had been confusion’s loneliness scripting a new beginning
The midday stars shine balanced light now as radiant prisms found celestial union
