The Unlit Road
Let explorers go where they will,
l have discovered my paradise in thee,
New worlds do not me, with interest fill
For you have set my roaming spirit free,
Of distant lands I dream no longer,
And I cannot think of elsewhere being,
As my passion grows, the bonds get stronger,
your presence blesses me with seeing.
You light up the road, I now must follow,
Before you were there, the road was dim,
But anywhere, without you, would be Hollow
And parting, be it but an hour, is merely an interim.
