The Wanderer
Yes I’ve lost true loves bride
And in no one I can confide
From the world I wish to hide
Out on this loneliest road side
All I have left now is my pride
But that will keep me satisfied
Until this deep pain will subside
Out on the road I will reside
Beneath cold stars I will roam
Until my heart has re-grown
Walking long and on my owe
This long road will be my home
I’ll make the hard earth my bed
Under cold sky I lye spread
With rocks to pillow my head
To all intents I am dead
As the sunsets over my road
And the red colours do explode
Casting darkness over my load
The black over me at last flowed
