This Happy Memory
My
love,
my wife.
Sixty-nine,
we found true love, bliss.
True lovers land utopia,
weekends for one-year we eloped found happiness there.
Married now, forty-seven years that happiness has prevailed, an open treasure trove.
One,
two,
three kids
gems, diamonds,
to add to the trove.
Our hearts, still open, treasure shared.
Happiness passed on with love, our children taught to care.
Now their turn to share, six grand, four great-grandchildren, each an added treasure to our trove.
As
we
have so,
so much love,
and a trove so full,
much happiness to share with all
the family, so much spare we'd like to share it all.
Our love and happiness with the world, bring joy to every little boy and girl, you too!
