Time Is Up
I wanted to give you my money,
my name and fame worldwide
It's not like that I could'n't keep my word
In fact, the poems didn't come in time
I know whatever you had in youth
You wanted to give me the rights
Saline water of your eyes
is still painted in my old shirt
I can see that in all sleepless nights
Crowds of people surrounds
Now, I am a successful man
Having prosperity in life
But looking back, I find
I have nothing but what did you leave for me
And that is the Subarnarekha river side
I seat on the lonely beach on shores of the sea
And wait for years after years
Whether a dolphin comes to the dunes
When there is a high tide
I write for you in the dark
Poems come unjust and at this untime
