Timeless Love
Sunset.
Summers end.
Shadows lengthen.
Sitting ,holding hands.
Knowing the others thoughts.
A glass of wine to seal the day.
Love reflected in each others eyes.
A light breeze shifts to bring a slight chill.
At last the moon shines down from a cloudy sky.
That look again, both knowing what is to come next.
Two empty glasses are left til the morrows light.
Soft moon beams give light to the scene.
Lovers lie entwined on crisp sheets.
Bodies glistening, anticipating.
Slowly increasing in rhythm.
The breathless moment.
Consuming passion.
Timeless love.
Sleep.
