Toxic Love Story

TOXIC LOVE

Your venom spreads, contagious,
Words spoken, wild and outrageous,
Attitude ungracious and relentless,
The Dark side of your resilience

Sobriety,
an outsider’s plea,
Unseen in your bustling society,
I stand guard, my presence discreet,
Curious when your darkness will leave.

I tread the path of rollercoaster emotions.
A love potion in silent devotion,
Sacrificing all, heedless of the fall,
Chasing a fleeting notion’s call.

I forgive your disrespect,
Dismiss the hurt from your neglect,
Yet your rejection of me,
Lingers, suspect, like a shadow’s plea.

Your "Baby Mamma Drama,"
a symphony of strife,
Notes of toxicity, discordant life,
Emotional wombs echo trauma’s plea,
Where periods pause, and commas set us free.

Let me be your intoxication,
Love—the soul’s sweet motivation,
Darkness drips from your poisoned lips,
Etching heartbreak and love drops that drip.

I tell myself I won’t miss you
Yet deep within, I know I will
