Trance of Silence
Transient flashes of lightning gleamed on your face,
the smile I sketched on my soaring butterfly wings.
Cascade of ebullient stream murmured in your voice,
the melody I created on strings of violin in my heart.
In your dove eyes dazzled the sheen of moonbeam,
the sparkle I sprinkled on my star studded satin sky.
On ripples of air swirled the lattice of your dark hair,
I made my yearning repose on its mystique tapestry
Your touch opened the floodgates of sensual stream,
my heart swam enticed on the flow of melted rainbow.
In lively elegance you took me to your beautiful world,
my dreams resonated with the rhythm of its rhapsody.
In the twilight of my winter you left with the setting sun,
I now wait for the time for us to arrive with colors of spring,
when from the lost horizon revived memories would return,
I’d see you smile on petals of flowers in my garden as dew.
Tinsels of stardust in the sapphire night would shape you,
your amorous touch would captivate me in trance of silence.
