Transgression

Time, they say, just doesn't wait,
It just moves steadily on;
And if the moment isn't siezed,
Then that moment's gone.

In many ways I guess that's true,
We can't let time just pass;
But spend it wisely and acrue,
The things that really last.

All life is precious, it's a gift,
That can't be taken lightly.
Each and every creature,
Like a jewel shining brightly.

Appreciate each one you see,
For what it really is,
A living thing that God has made,
For nothing man-made lives.

If you cannot give back that life,
Then you've no right to take it.
God didn't put it here for you,
Just to watch you waste it.

God loves each thing that He made,
Wants us to love them too.
Appreciate what He has done,
And show you love Him too.

Take from this world just what you need,
And leave the rest for others.
You aren't the only thing He loves,
You've sisters and you've brothers.

Some things are here for us to use,
For livlihood, food and fuel;
But use it wisely, treat it kindly,
Don't waste it like a fool.

One day you'll see your time's run out,
You'll stand before the Lord;
And you'll be judged for what you've done,
You really can't afford,

To live your life as though you think,
You're some invincible king;
For when we stand before the Lord,
We don't own a thing.

"TRANSGRESSION SPEAKS TO THE UNGODLY WITHIN HIS HEART.
THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE HIS EYESCONCERNING HIS INIQUITY AND THE HATRED OF IT, FOR IT FLATTERS HIM IN HIS OWN EYES. THE WORDS OF HIS MOUTH ARE WICKEDNESS AND DECEIT; HE HAS CEASED TO BE WISE AND DO GOOD."
