Trembling Lips
I stare at it
The picture there
Everyday; it's just a habit
I like to think you still care
It wasn't long ago
When we were at camp
But I just can't let go
I won't forget it, it can't
My lips still tremble
As I think of the kiss
So many things I have resemble
Other things that I miss
I feel like just a few
Molecules were left
On my lips from you
My secret theft
Out on the beach
Is where we were
The water just reached
Our feet on the shore
You arm around me
Protecting me from cold
You and I were a we
Or so I've been told
When you leaned in
That chilly night
I tilted my chin
And then away went the fright
You arms went around
Holding hard yet soft
The sand our ground
A personal loft
Intertwined with you
Out on the sand
Just us two
More then hand in hand
I loved you so deep
And yes I still do
But it slowly seeps
My memories of you
Some day I will find
The place where the love came
But for now, I stare at that moment
Caught in a frame
