Trust and Doubt
Trust me, for to doubt me will not permit you to trust me.
Doubt me and you will never find any reason to trust me.
Trust me and I will give you no reason to doubt me.
Doubt me and I will believe you can never trust me.
Trust me and if I give you any reason to doubt me,
Ask me concerning your doubt and I will clarify it.
Do not let your doubt grow daily larger and blossom into mistrust.
Doubt me if you will, for that certainly is your choice` but,
In not wishing to ask me concerning your doubt,
You would leave me no choice but to believe that
You’d rather harbor doubt than trust.
Always seek the brightness of a rising sun
Than the darkness of an oncoming night.
