Turning Into Dew
As the wheels of time rolled by on landscape of life,
many springs came in our ambiance and went away,
we walked our entwined hearts on the garden path.
Ardent fervor on the satin clouds set sail, not for long,
for the rain storm surged in, and dissolved the sky.
My yearning glided beyond the reach of eroded banks
of the subterranean stream flowing from your eyes,
but I knew it would return from the sea of obscurity,
not waiting long to be with you in the vale by the garden,
in the niche of your meandering arms I’d repose again.
That’s when I’d find you sow the seeds in the garden,
these would sprout in the spring with amorous splendor.
The cradle of leaves would take care of the buds of rose,
that would blossom in the dawn painted by sunburst sky,
adorning you with the flushing patina of glowing ardor.
You will then find me sparkling on the petals of your rose,
for I’d turn into drops of dew radiating heart’s fervent hue.
