Two Decades of Love
Our dalliance ignites passionate nights,
with halcyon breath and dulcet embrace-
I pretend not to see him as he writes
a letter of love showing his true grace.
He’s considerate with fine etiquette,
a good man who bestows utmost respect-
Two decades of a love so definite,
plethora of hope I did not expect.
Sapphire echoes when he unleashes me,
ivory stardust spreads over the sheets-
showing more passion for felicity,
wonder if he knows my heart, he completes.
I rest my weary ahead against his chest-
resplendently comprehending I’m blessed.
