Two Loving Robins
Two loving robins, sitting in their nest
raising their babies as they know best
A storm came along, providing a test
The wind whistled and screamed all night
as the two lovebirds held their little ones tight
The lightning and thunder were truly a fright
The rain fell in sheets, washed the nest from its tree
Mama bird cried out, "Oh, woe is me!"
Papa bird found them shelter midst a pile of leaves
Morning dawned, the birds breathed a deep sigh
The sun shone bright, light blue was the sky
Time to build a new nest, love and faith glorify
