Upstarts
To enjoy an upstart is quite easy in art,
You just have to let go, and enjoy their mistakes!
Is it foolish to scheme, does a snail even dream?
Does a lightning bug know, that a spark's all it takes?
High heeled shoes, hold on tight, diet drinks, share stage fright,
Does she sit by the wall, perhaps float on a cloud?
Bashful firefly stares as her guy flashes prayers,
Is it such a tough call to see her in the crowd?
If a cloud starts to rain, does it mean that there’s pain?
Still, its darkness dissolves when the water falls free
The sun’s cycle's at peace; meadows soaked with Matisse,
Woodland Faerie absolves, although drenched deity.
All is ring around Rose, manly Ayes writing prose
And the poesy of God has gone South without mate,
Best to leave BEST alone, verse they answer the phone,
For the tower of ODD, is the fashion of late.
