Vasava –An untold Story 7/ Many The Palace of Magadh was thrilling with the joy of Utsava* Every one from ministers to its court dignitaries And the renowned citizens of Patilputra* and Magadh* Were anxiously waiting for the Utsava to begin But in actual, they all were impatiently counting each moment for Vasava The learned Brahmans started the Utsava ceremony By reciting the melodious hymns from holy Vedas The citizens of Patilputra and even from far-off Magadh Got blessed when the king himself welcomed first his guest The emperor of Ujjain and then welcomed his citizens and Vasava Coronation day of King Suyodhan falls always, on the day of Vijayadesmi* Thus increasing the joy and pleasure of the people of Magadh But this year the joy was more than double, as the guest King of Ujjain,* Was there to see the celebrations of Magadh* and to see the much heard Vasava During the Utsava* which was looking like a never ending festival Vasava came on the stage, first of all folded her hands Before Goddess Saraswati and recited her prayer* Ravindra to continue in 8 Kanpur India 15th March 2010 *Goddess Saraswati* Saraswati is the Goddess of learning, knowledge, and wisdom. The Sanskrit word sara means "essence" and swa means "self." Thus Saraswati means "the essence of the self. * Utsava. * Celebrations with inner joy and happiness. A festival * Vijayadesmi * . Rama destroyed Ravana on this day and hence it is celebrated as the day of victory * Ujjain * One of the oldest Indian capital city.
