Vasava - An Untold Story 7/Many
Vasava –An untold Story 7/ Many
The Palace of Magadh was thrilling with the joy of Utsava*
Every one from ministers to its court dignitaries
And the renowned citizens of Patilputra* and Magadh*
Were anxiously waiting for the Utsava to begin
But in actual, they all were impatiently counting each moment for Vasava
The learned Brahmans started the Utsava ceremony
By reciting the melodious hymns from holy Vedas
The citizens of Patilputra and even from far-off Magadh
Got blessed when the king himself welcomed first his guest
The emperor of Ujjain and then welcomed his citizens and Vasava
Coronation day of King Suyodhan falls always, on the day of Vijayadesmi*
Thus increasing the joy and pleasure of the people of Magadh
But this year the joy was more than double, as the guest King of Ujjain,*
Was there to see the celebrations of Magadh* and to see the much heard Vasava
During the Utsava* which was looking like a never ending festival
Vasava came on the stage, first of all folded her hands
Before Goddess Saraswati and recited her prayer*
Ravindra to continue in 8

*Goddess Saraswati* Saraswati is the Goddess of learning, knowledge, and wisdom.
The Sanskrit word sara means "essence" and swa means "self."
Thus Saraswati means "the essence of the self.
* Utsava. * Celebrations with inner joy and happiness. A festival
* Vijayadesmi * . Rama destroyed Ravana on this day and hence it is
celebrated as the day of victory
* Ujjain * One of the oldest Indian capital city. In
Buddha period, it was a Kingdom.
*Prayer of Goddess The Sanskrit Mantra for which can be recited in English
