Venom Of Love

A candlelit room, love's sweet embrace,
A romantic setup, a magical space.
Soft music playing, filling the air,
As they danced together, without a care.
Where love could blossom at its prime,
Where in candlelight, they might have dined,
In the midst of all, he fell off his dove—
Bitten by the venom of love.
In shadows deep, a heart did weep,
A lover's loss, a vow to keep.
In vengeance sworn, a deed was done,
Blood on hands 'neath moonlit sun.
For justice failed, or so he thought,
In sorrow's grip, his reason caught.
He sought to right a grievous wrong,
Yet now he stands, condemned, alone.
His love avenged, yet at what cost?
In chains he's bound, his freedom lost.
A murderer of another's pain,
Now he bears the mark of Cain.
In somber silence, he must dwell,
Within the depths of his own hell.
A tragic tale of love and strife,
A man condemned to spend his life.
