Verbal Kisses

Verbal kisses sweethearts share; set burning passions alight. And like whispered wisps of air, they let paper dreams take flight. Redeeming vows hearts declare, hope intensifies the mood. And you tingle everywhere, feeling feelings; love imbued. Lies, pretend, promises scare, and doubts are hard to dispel. And love is so very rare; it's like a magical spell. Gossamer wings often tear; when you try to fly too high. And tearful oaths lovers swear; tend to be short-lived and die. Broken hearts fuel despair, dealing with rejection's pain. And chasing what wasn't there, love's bound to fail again.
