Voices In the Night

What a gathering!
I was puzzled by the crowd
'Close the doors and windows'
said an old man seated on a wood
'The ancestors want to meet the widows'
Two young men poured out the libation
Just to make peace with the departed
And for love to return to the nation
A woman with azure attire in the moonlight
Brought a horn of milk from the night
The old man sipped the liquor and spat out
At the elders seated around and about
He touched every youth's head to bless
And hoped it would bring bliss
