Wails from Gehenna

I let myself fall into guilt, time stands still,
you say your heavy words while I try to grasp them,
I’m tormented by the sentences they utter speaking through my behalf
      as I try to mutter

You’ve led me in this dark abyss the void fully consumed me feelings all
      blacked out,
tell me why I cannot find the light, for your spirits are weakening me

I’m trapped in this darkness, the demons that come from your mouth tear
      me thoroughly,
my yells are hollow, unable to be heard, the words grab my fragile arm
      pulling me to my fate

This lamentation is immortal in this realm,
the voices call to me from the distant hallways,
I gaze into the mirror in my hands, gleaming with rusted metal
revealing a distorted image of me transparent and translucent

My appearance cannot be seen as my tears fall to the surface,
they break the glass within every drop,
I then vanish as the vestiges of my heart meet its time,
my light is cast away, the stygian has met me
filling my heart with the darkness of mine.
