Warm Summer Love

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Fairest skin with lips that glisten,
My soul yearns for your love everyway.
Warm summer breezes as you listen.

Smells like the rose of gardens end.
Hearing my words, you gaze into me.
Swaying quiet branches in the wind,
Your touch more than sets me free.

Sunshine bright as your captivating eyes,
Reflects what you see in my hearts fire.
These moments bring joy that never dies.
Comparing all beauty from my desire,

This day I give more of true impression.
My love for you will have no digression.

inspired by the first line of William Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 using the first line.
