We Are of One Mind
We Are of One Mind
When you walk into the room,
Redness rushes through my face.
Soon, my heartbeat starts its race.
And I feel that I shall swoon.
Gifts you give, my soul consumes.
Beautiful, loving, strong, tall…
Fantasies forever call.
Sweet reality resumes.
I have need you come near.
On your word I do rely.
For me, you would surely die.
Together, we know no fear.
If I’m sad, you cheer me up.
If I’m weak, you give me strength.
If I’m cold, you bring your warmth.
If I’m sick, you share the cup.
If frightened, you make me brave.
If famished, you gather food.
You are kind and never rude.
We share dreams together; crave.
When you waltzed into my sun,
to you, my soul ran, embraced.
We placed our hearts in joy's race.
Together, forever, as one.
