Listen can you hear me,
Come closer and get near me.
I need to say I want you,
But only if you want me to.
Now you seem so far away,
When you left me "yesterday"
I didn't know what I had done,
What I said was just in fun.
When I said to go away,
It wasn't what I meant to say.
To book a trip or holiday,
That was what I meant to say.
Now we are here in this crowded room,
To wish them well,the bride and groom.
Now I think of "our" wedding day,
Let's go away, please say ok.
