Would this kiss feel as warm During a frigid winter storm Or my touch still feel soft As windy snows rage aloft. Could our embrace induce magic As a thunderstorm creates havoc Or your loving seem as sweet Under torrential freezing sleet. Would a whisper my sadness bury While a tornado swirls in fury Or this love remain the same In the throes of a hurricane. They would be void of such strife As long as my love shares her life Or I should die while in my pity Because the weather is within me. (click on the pic to preview my poetry book!)
