Wedding Day
As I look upon an Angel
That stood without her wings
Flowing lace and train of white
With vows yet forth to bring
The new love that unites them here
Left her dads heart feeling blue
He'd gave away his little girl
The flower that he grew
She borrowed of a trinket bright
Around her neck to wear
And something old from the past
Was the love that they both shared
The candles flame that flickers here
Burns for all to see
The kiss that they sealed love with
And the glimmer of her ring
A new last name to go forth with
Two lives joined by their hearts
This vow they'll share eternally
Till in death at last they part
