What Am I Looking For
It's really you.
I have walked by you so many times, now what do I do?
I have been with another man.
Buts it is you who I wish to take your hand.
The skills you have while you work every day.
They capture me, no words to say.
The other man and I.
We have been falling apart and we both know why.
Yet when I sit and talk with you.
A listener and friend I hold so dearly, and true.
I know we would make the best pair.
A couple, good friends so much to share.
For now. I appreciate what we do.
I wished I met you sooner and only knew.
That real love can be found.
Sitting together talking or no sound.
What am I looking for?
You, from the time you walked, through the door.
