What Is Love
This is not for the contest because I have no clue of how to write a sonnet poem, lol
You ask what is love and I answer it comes from above
It hurts and heals and is sometimes confusing
It is built into us from birth and it’s never ending
It is seen and unseen it is all around us like a dream
It captures our sight and enters our ears then touches the soul
It is the harmony of ecstasy when two fall in love I am told
It cannot be bought or sold it is free for the taking and free for giving
It’s God’s way of saying we came form his creations from up above
It belongs to all and yet some have died for stealing another’s love
It was never meant to be used for man’s creations yet we do
It is continuous and it cannot be stopped no one has that power
It is every word that man has created for us to communicate our love
It is every song a bird sings while perched in a tree singing a melody
You ask what love is and this is the answer it comes from up above
