When a Man Loves a Woman

Joyous cries then one look in your eyes another beautiful child is born God sprinkled a little fairy dust that memorable early Sunday morn hair of gold, a vision to behold perfect playful smile with a dimple on her cheek eyes open wide, full of passion, and sparkling blue in my image, but incomparable and unique When does a father know? When will his love start to grow? That first time you grasped my finger never wanting to let go The nights I patiently rocked you is where it first began to show All the lullabies and humming songs The way you snuggled in my arms How time was standing still life could do to you no harm. As you got a little older our bond got pretty tight playing games and holding hands praying together every night. I sit here now and smile, remembering all those things we did climbing trees, and water fights I counted while you hid I'm wrapped around your finger would do anything that you choose when you, my angel, graced my world I gained a smile I couldn't lose
