When Something Special Happens again, and again, finally

We said goodbye to August, 2015, and in that year we shared
The day we met, our futures set, in unison we're declared

That Christmas came and went, knowing we'd share it soon
Eight Thousand Miles apart, it felt like we were on the Moon

Twenty Sixteen we've entered, as we work towards that day
The day we chose, June Twenty Four, blessing our schmooze

Sadly, I was here and she was there organising our special day
Days led into weeks into months, our vows we're soon to say

Off I go as our journeys grow for us to grace the Balai Gloria
Us poetry two, yea me and you as we join in our euphoria

Our day we're blessed, family, guests, to our Pastor we stand
Vows taken, first dance graced, us joined in future planned

And once again I'm back on a plane, heading back to Ecosse
What we have to do, och aye the noo - mmm - s'il vous plait

June to September a slow ember, soon a special time is nigh
And off I go again on another plane to the Filipinos skies

We'll soon again say hello, for that glow for these years we
Some Eight Thousand Miles, Eloisa, to a different country

Fast future forward, when once we were two, now we are we
We thank you 'Poetry Soup' for we're three, with our Jamie.
