When The Blind See

Galatians 5:13 “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”

Never give me my way, Lord, unless my way is also Yours
Never allow me to grow prideful – give me a humble soul
Never let me hear the voice of greed, eating away my altruism
Never fill me with confidence when I need to take time to learn
Never whisper surety through me if I’m a hindrance to someone
Never lift those burdens when I have failed to repent for the wrong

Remind me, Jesus –
When I feel like the end is close and I can’t possibly make it through
That You are always with me, a hope that is ever sure
When I feel like I need to seek the answers that only You can supply
That You can change the outcome, Your love is always alive
When I feel like everything turns out just as it should, to remember
That You are the reason, the purpose, the supplier of all that’s good.

Never let me ignore the grace that You’ve provided
Never let me forget to praise You for Your wonders
Never let me let go of the prayers and sincere praise
Never let me listen to the voice of fear or dismay
Never let me silence the miracles who heal my heart
Never let me discount the music You’ve stirred inside
Never let me overlook the hope, kindness and love

Without You, dear Jesus, I’d be lost and without a chance
Without You, precious Savior, I’d be a shell of myself
Without You, my King, I’d be in doubt about everything

Know that I love You, Lord
And I pray for You to see…
Deep inside my soul,
There lives a part of You in me!
And, that is the love that sets me free.
