Love Poem: When you are gone

When you are gone

When you are gone!

1. Never once believe in the idea of having my eyes set on a certain someone's heart.

It sounded ridiculous and mythical,

Like the story of Wind Breaker and the bald man from Alabama, from a humble start,

Who sold all his year's corn purchased in Ohio just so he could say a proper goodbye to the one he claimed to love. So diabolical.

2. Time bears my growth witness.

From oblivion to consciousness,

My thoughts moved from narrowness to accepting the thought of you.

I can't lie to save my life when I say you are my moon.

Being my sole torchlight in the dark, dark night of my life's tomb.

3. I refused to speak in a corny manner,

Or pull you close to a tiny corner

To say,

You are my sunshine and my umbrella on rainy days.

Save me a glance only once,

And I will be contempt all my life.

4. My heart is your court, broke, shatter, play with it as you please,

But know I won't lie to you by simply saying I will die without you in my life, so drag me to my knees.

 Rather I will speak fondly,

You are the only color in my grey world.

With you gone, nothing else is fun.

5. When you are gone, and all the war stops,

 Peace reigns in every nation.

To me, it's all a blur

When you are gone, and man finally values another,

I am afraid I won't care at all.

When you are gone, and cancer is finally rid off,

I will be glad then sad for my only escape is gone.

6. When you are gone, and all is passed and done,

 The moon accompanies the rainbow,

And sun shares its glory with the stars,

When poets and musicians share the same roof

And all the glacier freezes and the land is safe from all its diseases.

 You know the answer.
