When You Came
You came when I’m young no longer
Blew like breeze of spring in my heart
Bare tree couldn’t turn a singer
For brown leaves broke music apart.
With summer drizzle from the cloud
You came when I’m young no longer
My senile mind behind dry shroud
Knew moist touch wouldn’t linger.
My weak body won’t be stronger
In hold of your youthful love, for
You came when I’m young no longer
I couldn’t respond to the lure.
A bird you flew in my lone heart
I knew you're mine, the sole bringer
Of sweet dreams in green pasture, but
You came when I’m young no longer.
