Where Did the Love Go
Someone tell me why oh please
I can't understand or see
Why we have to hurt in pain
It is driving me insane
Looking around to only find
The changes in human kind
From loving helpful and true
To only making others blue
When did something inside snap
Leading to the kind of crap
That tortures others every day
We need to work and find a way
To reverse this unkind way
We are living lets not stray
From the humans we can be
Searching to find the dignity
Lost so many years ago
We need to get back the flow
Of the love and kindness lost
There is too much of a cost
If we do not get it back
We will all feel the smack
Of a world in so much gloom
Help me stop this growing doom
That is looming through the land
Help reach out a loving hand
So there is a fighting chance
For expansion to enhance
A world of darkness back to light
Let's not give up we can fight
Making the change we expect
Don't settle for nothing less
