Where From Here
Where is it that we will go from here,
There just isn't any other place I fear.
It has been a long and difficult road ,
Will I ever get there I really don't know .
I've Stood strong , true , and held fast ,
Not sure exactly how long I would last.
My struggles hard and life has been tough,
I did not really need or want very much .
Never losing my faith and have always believed ,
That Love and Happiness is what I would receive.
A little longer and a bit more I would say,
Work hard and it will all be good one day.
I did not complain nor make much of a fuss ,
Just have always wanted the very best for us.
I'm so sorry if I have failed you in any way,
Loving you was all I wanted to do every day.
This I have always known way deep in my heart ,
There wasn't anything that could ever pull us apart.
They've always said we have that special thing,
A very rare thing and something hardly ever seen.
It is something that has always given me so much pride,
Making all I do effort less and you the reasons why.
Where is it we will go from here I just can't say,
Only that I know we will get there some day.
The love between us is strong and our hearts true,
It is the streangth in our foundation that gets us through.
Our unspoken trust and the powerful bond we have ,
Carries us through all our good times and all the sad.
I'm beginning to think it's not where we will go from here ,
Because it's when ever we're together we are already there.
These are my reasons I will Always do my very best,
And by keeping my faith that God will cover all the rest.
So I guess there's nothing really for me to fear,
Why would I ever want to go any where from here.
