Where Is My New Love

-
Will I go to the bar the oldest of my group I keep trying endlessly trying.
He could be there tonight after a long struggle to find Mr. Right
Every time I go out I think it's a waste of time no one wants me
Revving engine outside tells me the taxi is here with the gang inside
Each one dolled up to the nine's with war paint and sinking top lines

Is it the Locarno or Edward's No.8 club gals
Shalamar she says the foods free and he might be there again

Me with no man waiting but hey we will have a good time
Yes I'll pay your fee and Billie Jean drags us up the stairs

Nicely shaped and chiselled jaw bone he won’t bother with me
Every sinew of my being desires but I'll dance and he'll ignore me.
With a flourish I leave the floor and whack he raises his fingers to comb his hair

Letting his finger poke my eye. Ouch. So sorry. God I'm sorry.
Oh don't be its ok. But deliberately stagger and falsely sway and leave he follows
Very wrong to behave that way but a catch and fella oh mom.
Evening meals a cuddle and love. Here we go. I don't ask much. Do I.
