Where Love Is
Two years ago we got a little puppy,
He was purest white and very fluffy.
His name was Eli, Frances had said,
He has always slept under our bed.
One thing I noticed, Fran would say,
He will not come to my side and stay.
I said he will, just give him time,
He knows you love him, that you care,
One day he come and cuddle up there.
That day arrived, it was plain to see,
As Fran sat in her chair to watch the TV,
Up he jumped and sat on her knee.
Now, as I told her when she was dismayed,
He's found where love is, her fears allayed.
