Why Must You Die
We whisper our vows near the end of your life
and exchange rings, at last I’m your wife
aware you’re going to die
we’ll soon say goodbye
I’m bereft.
Why
I’ll be left
all alone to cry
my heart aches I can’t deny
so conscious of my impending strife
we whisper our vows near the end of your life
