Why My Life Is Complete
Spent years encompassed in solitude with remorseful eyes.
Wore sadness in my smile yet used kind words as a disguise.
Now I see my existence as something needing to be awoken,
and I have mended all the heartache in life that was broken.
I have this beautiful daughter who is my soul-shining splendor.
O, the way she looks at me with big brown eyes so tender.
A husband who does not compare to any other man on earth,
since the first time we touched my life has gained much worth.
My spirit now dwells inside gratiude and to God I surrender.
