Will Mean For Me

I hold the knife to my chest
I hold myself hostage
No signs of breaking free
Daily torture handcuffed to the past
Whiped by the fears I hold dear
The scars still bleed to this day
When it all collides in my head
The wreckage spills from my mouth
At a glance you will see very little
But if you dare try to see though the chaos there is a calm
It blows in with the wind of change
Still lonely i roam amongst the leaves of pain
Still seeking a love like no other
For a person who can look past the flaws
Can see me
I am no rose
Only a thorn
Sharp to the touch
No one comes close
Avoidance is the norm
No courage to speak
48 years locked away
I am a criminal to me
I am a victim of my own circumstance
I want to hold her so close
But no her exists
I am lost in a maze of strange
It's the only filmiar i know
When it all makes sense then I will see what this love will mean for me.
