Words Unspoken

Words were spoken Hearts were broken Love soon faded Lives were degraded Feelings were hurt Poked at the past’s dirt Yes, hearts were broken Curses were spoken This is the day A time when we pray For the answers to pain Despite the falling rain The moments of grace Will we leave this place? So many fallen tears Breaking through the fears Rising, like the sun The time has just begun When autumn leaves fall Rustling with softest call Wistful dreams reveal The music we still feel Flowing over our soul Sure to make us whole Words so quietly spoken Oh, since our hearts are broken Will we understand What His love has planned? Will our spirits sing Because we have a King One who can truly save With this cross, He gave More than we can see His love is completely free Remember His love is strong It knows what’s right and wrong He sings of grace and peace Offers hope that will never cease He is the light of life Relieves worry and strife When my mind tells me to fear I open my heart to hear The One who forgave my sins All my faith He wins When I remember His great gift His light, so gentle and swift Silences my worst despair He answers my every prayer While I don’t always see the way He is mine and to Him I’ll say Forever, come what may… This love of God is here to stay. Words were spoken Hearts were broken But, God came to save His great love He gave So I could see the light Even in the dark of night I could see the love that lives Oh, I believe He surely gives Love that is beyond comprehension Love that holds my attention His is the wonderful I know Silences doubt so I grow Into someone who believes His love never deceives His love is the light of my soul His grace has made me whole Because of Jesus, I know From where all blessings flow!
