Yearn For Love
The summer swan song suffuses the autumn romance,
clumps of cloud caressed by the silk of the sapphire sky
wait for the northern wind to hold hands to dance
at the edge of the kaleidoscopic horizon before they fly.
Drenched by the departing summer’s last spell of teary spray
the twilight sky burns in the setting sun’s sinking flare,
from the amber canopy of forest all the birds soar away,
the shadow of tinged foliage floats in the rippling crisp air.
The garden path braces the blushing trees facing the fall,
wilted golden leaves weave the tapestry of blazing hue,
the autumn music resonates in the rustle as they crawl,
reclined grass of cinnamon meadow dons the crown of dew.
The fountain flow of mesmeric moonbeam floods your face
like pristine pearls spreading on waves of amorous sea remote,
the whispering autumn breeze wraps you in ardent embrace,
as I yearn for your love in stardust sequins I see my dreams float.
