I glanced over at you,
But you didn't see me.
I watched you work,
But you didn't see me.
I smiled as I though
'how cute'
But you didn't see me.
I thought to myself
'how lucky I was to have you'
But you didn't see me.
I bet that's how God feels,
When He looks at us,
But we don't see him.
He watches over us,
But we don't see him.
He provides for us, for our needs.
But we don't see him.
He sends down his angels to stand guard over us,
But we don't see them either.
He loves us, He really does,
Even if we don't see it.
