You Promised Me
You promised me, was in despair
But, you had other things to care
You told me you could not adjourn
I waited, you showed no concern
Hope those regrets you could repair.
Hold me in arms when end is near
You keep my wish in your prayer
Time we lost will never return
You promised me.
Make death a beautiful affair
I shall rest in peace with no fear
Such a blissful end I do yearn
Though my life turned out little stern
I trust your love, will you be there?
You promised me.
