when teasing slows, and the laughter dies down,
i can only hear your message, Lord, behind the sound,
muffling my ears to only hear your voice,
though its hard, i still listen, for your love is my choice,
tolerance in silence, you cover my ears,
while making me fully aware to seperate the fear,
is this necessary, Lord? i ask..how can i handle this and yet see,
but then i view all my mistakes and ask myself how could you put up with me?,
if im acting self-centered, Lord, change my heart to see,
and bring my heart closer to your will for me.
