Zephyr
“In the surge of love the transient beauty needs to be held
close in heart lest it flies away in zephyr” – Quote by Poet
Joy beads on your face in the wind rolled,
the ebony hair defiant, fluttered uncontrolled.
Some swirled squally over untamed gale’s wing,
the forehead lattice captured my surging yearning,
lest like the cloud it drifted away.
The sculpted design of hazel eyes closed sly,
like fascinating folded flaps of blushed butterfly.
The onyx eyelashes lined the lissome lids with glee,
concealed dreams in the fathomless depth of azure sea,
lest like the birds they soared away.
The lilac petals of the luscious lips pressed,
kept the sensuous silence of longing suppressed,
carved on your face the alluring contours with ease,
rippling on the petals of your floral smile, I found freeze,
lest like the rhapsody rose it withered away.
The radiant supple cheeks subtly caressed by
suffusing fuchsia touch of the aura of sunset sky,
color of love dripped from the pallete of my mind,
beguiled, I etched in my heart your image in the wind,
lest like a leaf in zephyr your beauty flew away.
