Love Poems About Buddha or Buddha Love Poems

Now I Am

there was the cynosure on your sky
you, the convergent point of poetry
I forgot to learn your all inner eye
and failed there to make Buddha tree

here, now, I’m to the hackneyed dark
a bearded holocaust bawl,
I’m to me- a fresh skeleton,
A barren bone of ravished love,
grey yard of withered diction,
the hemlock in dull speech,
caged phantom of prose

Label Not God

“God alone is, the all there is ~ Feel within, His vibrant bliss fizz” _____________ Inbuilt prejudice, as beliefs that hiss, negates divine light and bliss beats delight. Mind’s designed to size, compartmentalise, whilst God and we’re one, glowing like the sun. Innate aliveness is one with oneness, until scarred by mind, gripped in ego’s bind. Jesus and Buddha, Shiva and Durga, are each love essence, God’s luminescence. Religion’s a crutch. Learn to love by touch, each moment complete, vibrant, bliss replete. 21-June-2022

Show Me God

The one God Absolute,
sent us His son Jesus ~
beacon of glowing light,
epitome of love,
who revealed inner sight.

The one God Absolute
appeared as The Buddha,
whose teachings we applaud;
sages known and unknown ~
in each shone light of God.

The one God Absolute
has no limitation
and may take any form.
Eyes closed, we feel within,
His bliss magnetism warm.

The one God Absolute
within cave of each heart,
lovingly guides our soul,
if we choose to listen,
whilst playing our life role.

On My Indian Land

Muslim came, Christian came, and they gave their separate fame
Maratha, the Rajput, the Mughal has done, to increase its name.
Buddha came; Mahavira came, wishing always India’s fate.
Aryan came, Dravidian, All gave the words of praise,
All came and gone, India always for all,
Land made no distinction at all.
Spread love is the message for all
As my country greater of all
Love made no difference that’s all.

Petrichor 3

we breathe the same air
but I'm not who you think i am
someone else is wearing my face
writing poems
in your sleep

over the mountain, the sun rises
lifting heavy eyelids of earth
it is morning, the dance begins,
the abalone night has fled with
beggars and thieves

the white lotus opens to reveal
the Buddha of Compassion
rising in a gown of crystal skin

i peel the onions and crack the eggs
straighten out the closet
in which we hide our dreams.

you go now, my love, we'll meet
again when the day ends and
I'll be the goddess on your tongue,
coiling to strike,

you are the poem I touch with a thousand
sighs,
let us begin to rain.

Zen Love

I love my little Buddha husband
sometimes I watch him as he naps
his face assuming the soft delicate
lines of a child or an angel
asleep on God's bosom

I observe him in the garden
through the glass patio door
reflective light of the noonday sun
splashing gold over his bent form

Gently he snips fragrant rose blossoms
arranging a charming feng shui bouquet
for our kitchen counter

Cuddling close and cozy on our
chocolate brown love sofa
as evening casts a starry
love spell

I Thank God for such a
blessed and sacred life and especially
for my little Buddha's delight

Can Love be in the Buddha nature?
Unrequited Love is not in the Buddha nature.

BAMBOO VEIL 5

Ancient tree
Weathered wisdom;
Stillness presides

~~~~~~~~~
Dawn hurls
Sparkling buzz;
Illumination
~~~~~~~~~

Old man sits
Observes happenings;
Walkway detour

~~~~~~~~~
Toddlers congregate
Playground frolic;
Glee greets wonder
~~~~~~~~~

Hawker food
Queues winding;
Mealtime economics

~~~~~~~~~
Modern day buddha
Meditative moods;
Dazzling radiance
~~~~~~~~~

Cease to desire
Empty concessions;
Seize enlightenment

~~~~~~~~~
Church sermon
Grace instructs;
Truth sets free
~~~~~~~~~

There is a law
Beyond our flaws;
Love heals

Complementarity

Whether you’re on the side of Love—
With Buddha, Sankara and Husserl,
Or on the side of Suspicion—
With Nietzsche, Freud and Bloom,
The principle of complementarity
Works for you,
As for Paul Ricœur
And for Niels Bohr.

You’re a participant observer,
Influencing the world,
Like the physicist,
Influencing the behavior of quanta,
Like the girl in a glass chamber,
Influencing the behavior
Of the vipers and cobras around,
Like   the deconstructionist,
Influencing the behavior of the sign.

Gandhiji

Today my tears refused
to be imprisoned
while watching a film
on Gandhi's life

His unflinching, Godly resolve
moments of exhilaration and
plummeting despair

Christ-like love for Humanity
an example the world has
yet to follow

O' Gandhiji
Your sacrifice
and dedication will
never be forgotten

Like Jesus, Buddha and
all the great Mahatmas
you died with the name
of God on your lips

The Easter

So many of us grew up with the Christ.
Were painting eggs and bunny came by.
The fewer have opened heart to the others:
The Buddha, Mohamed and far Dalai Lama.

The smarter we get - the more we do know.
The wiser we get - the more we Don't know.
And only a few hear voice from above
What matters in life - if we share Love.

Stooped Stance

Melding with the void,
blissful, overjoyed,
we choose to descend
to help souls ascend.

In search for the light,
there’s no wrong or right;
since the truth is veiled,
by fears we’re assailed.

Ignorance the cause
why love’s put on pause,
so we have no choice
but to heed God’s voice.

Conscience is within;
listen to begin.
Complex made simple ~
just rest thoughts nimble.

Buddha and Jesus;
their teachings please us
but then we forget,
languish in regret.

Easy is the road,
heart is God’s abode
but being ill bred
we live in our head.

Discard all knowing
and keep on flowing,
head-heart hand in glove,
embracing God’s love.

Dear Dad
The foods that I left
In the altar that I wish
You reborn to another life
With my prayer to Buddha
To you my fullest love
You live in my mind forever and always

Koi you are and coy, the realest deal by far

In Quest Of

Imagine myself.. a traveller from the ancient world of history -
             world of Buddha, Hsuen Tsang and Fa Hien,
                    land of Pyramids, and Great Wall... walking through ages..
                           in search for knowledge, spirituality, harmony..
         crossing through meandering rivers and mighty oceans,
  hills and dales of the universe, in quest of love, kindness and inner peace.

                                   Taken from my poem "Quest"

Return To Wholeness

The body is precious
a vehicle for
awakening
treat it with care,
said Buddha

I love its stillness
beauty and sanctity
here and now

sink into its calm
to hear the whispers
in all
its ebbs and flows

erect, penetrate
the edge of life and
loss
return to wholeness

A Friend Is the Desire Ocean

A friend is the Desire Ocean
To see and to touch
To guide us, to behold us
To Love us that much

The Desire Ocean is strong
Bringing next to us daily
With wisdom, with kindness
Through triumph and melee

A friend is Buddha's helper
To help tend our needs
To soothe us and nurture
Most precious of seeds

And sometimes two Buddha
Unite and are friends
Flying in solitude
Till this life ends

A friend is The Desire Ocean
Who touches our being
Giving us vision
In all we are seeing

And if you are lucky
Your Buddha will know
A true friend in spirit
Will help you to grow

I'M Lost Now

Vision a nightmare
picture a circle of death,
Escalating the fight for life
and suppression of breath,
Praying into the wind
to save all that is left,
Ever wonder if she can here you
and if so will he help,
Questioning God because Allah
allows so much pain,
And Buddha teaches me much
except dodging the rain,
Or can I really be that blind
taking the fight to my brother,
Blood for blood right mama
After I tell her I love her,
Then I turn my back to the world

Heartbreaking

She broke my heart
Every piece, shattered
All I wanted was her love
Real, as she promised
True, as mine for her
But she walked away
Right in the middle of paradise
Oh Buddha I sang and cried in my love

Every beat of my heart
Aches for her love
Keeping the flame aglow
I will wait by the light
Never losing the hope
Buddha will send her back to me

Sonnet 9 'she Said a Thousand Things With One Sweet Smile'

She says a Thousand things with one sweet smile,
And all that’s Broken comes together, repaired!
The Buddha sat, sometimes, not saying a thing,
Ah WHAT a LIFE together we have shared!
For twenty-seven sweet years, we hurt and helped,
We grew, and changed, and fell behind, sometimes,
And if she stepped on me, and then I yelped,
She was sorry, and made certain she was kind
Afterwards…
And I, when I fell short, or hurt her heart,
Apologized! Loved! Till I won her back,
Of her, of me, of each other, we are a part,
Though she has died, of Love, there is no Lack!
I feel her Warmth about me all the time!
And all her Wisdom went into this rhyme!

Socrates, Jesus and Buddha

Socrates and Jesus met the Buddha one fine day
Comparing notes on favorite quotes
Of love, life, work and play.
Socrates said “Questioning” was the way to truth made clear
While Jesus said, “Love everyone, even those we hate and fear.”
Buddha on the other hand smiled and kept on walking,
Thinking to himself he said, “Need more silence and less talking.”

A Love

It is very nice to think of love
The world is full of love and unbroken hearts,
with girl saying a love
and boy happily to date
In every Buddha land of peace

Untitled #106 / When She Wears Her Glasses

Oh, how I cringe inside
when she wears her glasses!
Two with black hair!
Two with backpacks!
Two with Buddha!
Two with green eyes!
Now, two with glasses!
Is there any reason they should not
walk as two, together?

Untitled #122 / Love and the Buddha Nature

Can love be against the Buddha nature?
Can we let Buddha stand in the way of living?
Or can all complications be reconciled into
One?

Laughing Buddha

Vibrant, complete, bliss replete, all Buddha seeks is love’s tweet, chirruping from every heart, each throb being a new start. Here, now in the flow of life, love drenched soul always bliss rife, reflects God’s light among all, radiating a bliss squall. 27-December-2022
