Leading Me To Sunday

Wasn't written in the scriptures you'd be found
twin bunnies hopping along side with the summer
little Ronny Johnson's sister tagging right along
stolen glances and secret kisses
swinging together on the old tire swing
back before father called you home

That was then before painted memories
hung out on the front porch with lemon tea
refreshments sparkled a quite midnight sky
loving hands held in a most romantic way
warming hearts and projecting missed moments
waiting patiently for my Sunday to come again

The Crippled Pigeon

The crippled pigeon
Who had the gift of love
Adopted three orphaned
Bunnies; sheltering
Them under her tiny wings
Love was in the air
With this tiny little dove

Little Ones

Little ones, Little ones
Faces so sweet
Oh how I want to squeeze your cute cheeks
Oh, how I love you
Oh, how I care
About all the little things in your life we share
These are the times
I've been dreaming of
Days when, as your grandma,
I can give you such love
Bunnies and Teddies
Wet baby kisses
What a delight
What a sweet day of BLISS is!

Precious Moments

When I am alone; I am not alone. No one is ever alone but, sharing solitude, with nature my soul soars. Tiny bunnies hopping in my yard and Garden in the spring; Day lilies presenting heads of orange and Parrot tulips galore. Rainbow colors sway in the Breeze and tea roses birthing buds of Scarlet, pink, yellow, mauve and white, Dot my fence with splashes of bold electric color. New house sparrows, doves, robins and Cardinals will hatch and sing; I love watching them learn to fly. They remind me of the struggle of Learning to walk; Precious moments where I enjoy bliss.

The Okapi

I love to see to see bunnies, so hoppy,
with small twitching noses and floppy,
cute ears or a llama,
the cause of such drama.*
I'm charmed by the unique okapi!

Stumped viewers are always inquiring,
“What IS that?” They stare, so admiring
this zebra-giraffe,** for
it is neither one nor
the other—and so awe-inspiring.

*a reference to the popular children’s story “Drama Llama”
(about a llama that gossips and stirs up trouble among the
other animals) and the topic of entertaining videos

**another name for the okapi, native to the Congo

Beauty and Diversity

The rose in my book
Both touch my heart
The song and the movie
No breaking apart
Tiny human bunnies
Aren't they adorable?
Memorable money
So invaluable
White is the new black, and day is night
Lets love them all and do not fight.

Easter

This Easter give someone a smile. Gladden the hearts of a little child with bunnies, chocolate or live. Show your love of humanity, by going out of your way. Make this Easter a brighter day. Love one another.

In Springtime

In spring time, the birds all do sing,
announcing what nature will bring.
New eggs in a nest,
a robin's love fest
and bunnies just having a fling.

In spring time, there comes a new birth
New creatures appear on the earth.
The birds and the bees
all do as they please
and all are surrounded by mirth.

In spring time, the brooks do run clean
and new life around is all seen.
The tulips pop up
and a buttercup
and daisies are making the scene.

In spring time, the sky is so blue,
sublime and ethereal hue.
The air is so new,
it smells of the dew.
You know you will find your love true.

Bunnys Go Wiild

Two little bunnies hopped on the Ark
They got up to mischief after dark

It wasn't long more bunnies came along
They all sang the hippy hop song

We like to make love we're not about war
If the ships rocking don't open the door

After forty days and forty nights
So many bunnies it just wasn't right

Noah decided he must segregate
Their appetites he could not satiate

When they got hungry they ate bunny stew
By the time they landed there were just two

An Easter Wish

An Easter Wish

				Easter is a time
					Of renewal
					Of hope
					Of life
				Easter is a time
					Of Easter eggs
					Of Easter bunnies
					Of chocolate too
				Easter is a time
					Of family
					Of faith
					Of joy
				Easter is a time
					Of making wishes
					Of good things to come
					Of sweetness and love

Spring

Spring Comes

When the roses are red

When the bunnies come out

When the garden starts to sprout

When the animals are born

When the grass is green

When the sun is shining

When the love is spreading

When the joy is up

When the spirits come

When the heads are held

That is how you know when spring comes.

Bunny Love

Romantic gondolier loved his job, listening to giggling.
So many bunnies got engaged on his watch, on his ride.
These two had tails that could not stop wiggling.
Adorable the way they leaned into each other, side by side.

The bunnies forgot the gondolier was on the boat today.
They had not seen each other forever and another day.
Both in service to their country, assignments far away,
They got engaged in the typical love bunny way.

Some-Bunny Loves You

Shhh..hush now..listen..can you hear him? The Easter bunny is on his way
Close your eyes..can you feel the presence of our Savior? Resurrected to eternal life, he rose up on this eggcellent day
Before you hop into bed sweet honey bunnies don't forget to pray
As you're snuggled in remember some-bunnies love is with you always to stay

Snuggle Bunny Fantasy

Under snow white sheets disarray
Snuggle Bunnies romp and play

Acrobatic twists and turns
Softly thumping bodies burn

As lustful fire starts to grow
Sweat moist bodies start to glow

And loving voices begin to switch
To lust filled groans of fevered pitch

Entwined in wanton ecstacy
Of Snuggle Bunny fantasies

Pussy You Know

Mine I know, yours I’m liking all the more
Mine likes chasing birds, yours likes a little dicky too
Mine likes playing with bunnies, yours is partial to a rabbit too
Mine likes being stroked, yours does too
Mine is all furry, yours was once too
Mine purrs away, yours lovingly murmurs along
Too much pussy I know
All a little bit catty but it’ll have to do
Say hello to Florence the pussy cat
Darling, do you name yours too?

My Five New Year's Resolutions

I'll call those I love one day each week,
just because I love to hear them speak.
I will use much less ocean-clogging plastic
as Earth's situation becomes more drastic.
I will help those who can't help themselves
knowing need can't be left upon the shelves.
I'll continue feeding birds, bunnies, squirrels,
and hope next year will bring a better world.
And, a year from now, putting 2022 behind,
I hope I can say, above all else, I was kind.

Easter Bunny

Easter bunny with ears tall and funny,
Hopping down the the bunny trail,

Meeting with Mrs. Bunny with the cute cottontail,
Bringing Easter baskets filled with colored eggs,

Chocolate eggs and bunnies,
For the parents and children.

The beautiful spring flowers,
Daffodils and daisies.

Memories of creating Easter baskets,
Finding the Easter treats the Easter bunny hid.

Warm spring fresh air, new clothes and presents,
A young person's delight.

Special Easter days with our parents,
Good memories always.

Goodnight Sweet Angel

Good night, sweet angel
And may your dreams be sweet.
I'll tuck you in warm and snug
On your soft flannel sheet.
Good night, sweet angel.
Close your pretty eyes.
Dream dreams of birds and bunnies
Under deep blue skies.
Good night, sweet angel.
Have a peaceful sleep.
We'll meet again tomorrow,
When the birds begin to cheep.

Easter Tide Ii

Easter time is a time for looking forward.
It's a time for shedding old skin and finding new
thoughts and hopes of current dreams.

Easter time is a time to reflect on Jesus' Resurrection
and to feel the pain and love He suffered for us.

Easter time is also a time for children with chocolate bunnies
and sterling dresses of gold.

Easter time is a time to remember the old.

So have the Best Easter you can with family and friends
and you will receive Blessings of many trends.

Happy Easter Everyone.

Rattling chains these halls be they kind today nay, a nuisance nirvana..

Bunny Love

(\(\ /)/)
            ( -.-) (-.- )
          o(")(") (“)(“)o

Bunnies love each other a lot
To me this is certainly clear
For when it comes to having babies,
They have from six to twelve a year!

We Have Bunnies

This is Bunny
He is blue
Lil' sister has one too
But he's pink
I think he's as special to her
As Bunny is to me
He's as old as me you know
We were born the same day
We play and read together
We need to be together
His nose has started to fray
Now it's a long unraveled thread
More like a mustache Daddy said
I love him
Bunny is a good friend
I won't lose him, leave, or lend him
And once grandma had to mend him
When his stuffing came undone
And what fun we have when we play
He laughs and jokes - he's really funny
And when I'm all grown
He'll come and stay
On a sunny day
My blue Bunny

Let Go

ringing ears and dead brain
helpless, shattered, nirvana
living in denial
shallow empty & void
past paused since ages ago
stranded alone... never to let go

dissolve dissect disinfect
reality reason & retrospect
despair in vogue
ticking time standing still
future ahead but miles to go
just got there but have to let go

bunnies scampering in the rabbit hole
Alice refuses to go on a roll
Rapunzel got no hair to let down
Cinderella's left without an evening gown
future paused & present was a while ago
escaped in the darkness never intended to let go
